Fall Walking Tours Fall colors peak in late September and early October making it the ideal time to explore the surrounding mountain ranges. It is also mating season for most of the larger animals so your visit will be enhanced by lots of wildlife viewing. With fewer visitors, it is a great time to enjoy the serenity of the region.
