Grand Teton Experience - Wildlife and Hiking (May through November)

Spend the early morning hours looking for wildlife and birds in Grand Teton Park on our Sunrise Discovery Tour and then experience a great hike in the mountains surrounding Jackson Hole. It's a full day of fun! The hike will focus on learning about natural habitats, animal behavior, birds, and flowers. Snacks and lunch, transportation, water, gear, spotting scope and binoculars are included. Tours depart at 6 am.

Sunrise and Sunset Discovery Tours (May through November)

Discover mixed habitats and look for wildlife with a knowledgeable naturalist guide. We will visit scenic parts of the Park which are home to elk, moose, deer, coyotes, bison, bears, wolves, eagles, and osprey. All group sizes are small so everyone gets a window seat while driving. Tours include a naturalist guide, transportation from a convenient meeting place, binoculars and spotting scope, water bottles, snacks, interpretive materials, and activity books for all children.
Tours depart at 6 am or 5:30 pm. Tour times vary due to daylight changes.

Wildlife and Fish- Explore Grand Teton Park and Flyfish on the Snake River
Trip length: approximately 8 hours

The Hole Hiking Experience has partnered with Jackson Hole Anglers to provide a great day in scenic Grand Teton Park and on the majestic Snake River. Starting at approximately 6 AM you will journey into Grand Teton Park to explore mixed habitats and look for wildlife with a knowledgeable naturalist guide. We will visit scenic parts of the Park which are home to elk, moose, deer, coyotes, bison, bears, wolves, eagles, and osprey. All group sizes are small so everyone gets a window seat while driving.
After time for lunch, you will be met by your fishing guide for an afternoon on the Snake River. From a private drift boat, you will join an expert guide to catch the native cutthroat trout. Rods and reels provided and any needed instruction.
Tours include a naturalist guide, transportation from a convenient meeting place, optics water bottles, snacks, rod and reel. It does not include fishing license, flies and lures, park entry fee or gratuities.

Elk Bugling and Wildlife Tours (September 15 through October)

In the fall, the bull elk harem females and mark their territories with their eerie-sounding bugle. Bears are also active preparing for winter hibernation so this time of the year is perfect for viewing wildlife. We will visit mixed habitats to look for wildlife and then focus on the elk and their mating behavior as the sun sets. Tour includes a naturalist guide, binoculars, spotting scope, snacks, and bottled water. Tours depart at 4 pm.
