Snowshoe or Ski A naturalist guide will lead you on a journey into the heart of winter on snowshoes or cross-country skis. You will follow animal tracks in the snow, examine different aspects of winter ecology and enjoy the outstanding beauty of Jackson Hole as it is blanketed in white. Tours are offered in Grand Teton National Park or in the surrounding National Forest. We offer tours for all ages and abilities.

The Explorer
Trip length: 4 hours
Rating: all abilities
Our half-day tours depart at 8 am, or 1 pm. Get a taste of winter backcountry travel. Bottled water, snacks, transportation, and the use of fanny packs and binoculars are included. Our tours include snowshoe rental. Skis and boots can be rented locally.

The Trekker
Trip length: 6 hours
Rating: moderate to strenuous
Our full-day tours depart at 9 am. You'll have more time with this tour to get a little deeper into the backcountry. Bottled water, lunch and snacks, transportation, and the use of fanny packs and binoculars are included.
Our tours include snowshoe rental. Skis and boots can be rented locally.
2 people- $172.50 per person with two person minimum, excludes park admission fee
3 or more people- $140 per adult, $120 per child (ages 5-12), excludes park admission fee
Snowshoe Sampler
Trip length: 2 hours: 10 am - noon
Rating: all abilities
Join us to sample snowshoeing and learn about winter ecology. Tour departs Teton Village at 10 am and will explore Grand Teton Park. Snowshoes, gaiters, poles, transportation from Teton Village, bottled water, and the use of fanny packs are included.

Each tour location is chosen to share the backcountry and mixed habitats. Tours will be through open meadows, Aspen groves, and coniferous forests. Areas explored are home to moose, wolves, bears, weasels, snowshoe hare, and many other forest inhabitants. Come to discover and explore the wilderness.

COMBINATION TOURS
Snowshoe and Dog Sled Tour (December through March)
Trip length: a full day of fun!

You'll be picked up at your hotel at 8 am by your Hole Hiking naturalist guide to explore Grand Teton National Park on snowshoes and learn about winter ecology. Look for signs of wildlife behavior and animal tracks in the snow. Park entrance fee, snowshoes, gaiters, poles, snacks, water, and fanny packs are included. After a hearty lunch, join Continental Divide Dog Sled Adventures at 11:30 and travel north to Togwotee Pass for an afternoon adventure in the forest. You will return to Jackson around 5 pm.
$328 per person. Rates based on mixed snowshoe groups.

We personalize each tour to fit your ability and interests. Our excursions have a minimum tour rate so we can customize each outing. If more than two people are in your group, you are charged the listed group rate. We try to accommodate single travellers and mix them with others. Listed rates are based per guide and van. Private tours are also available. Please inquire.
Please wear warm layered clothing with a waterproof outer layer. Waterproof boots are needed for snowshoeing. Cross-country ski gear and waterproof boots can be rented locally. Our tours include snowshoe rental.
Child rate is for children 12 and under unless otherwise noted.

Due to our customized schedule, refunds cannot be made within 48 hours of your scheduled departure time. Special and multi-day programs have separate reservation policies.
