Greetings,
We have been back from Asia for about three weeks. This photo was taken by Lisa Finkelstein at one of the monasteries. All the monks really enjoy meeting us and having photos taken. I am standing in the background. As Lisa said, “Marc and I had a great trip with everyone.” I am truly pleased with how much fun we had and everyone’s positive feedback.
We will return next fall so mark your calendar! We will be offering the same trip in late October and early November. We will also be trekking to the base of Chomolhari- the sacred female peak high in the Himalayas. This is a 14-day trip which is an ultimate trek since it is quite challenging but truly rewarding. The trek itself is 10 days. We are also working on a shorter 10 day itinerary so will have lots of options. Stay tuned. Itinerary will be finalized in January.
On a local note, snow has started to accumulate in the Jackson valley and over 125 inches has fallen in the mountains. The opening of the ski resort has been awesome and skiing is great right now. The best part- snow is predicted all week. Stay tuned for future nature updates. Let it snow!!
