Why Bhutan?
I do receive the question, why Bhutan? Well, it is a country that limits tourism, builds within parameters of sustainable development and preserves cultural values. The government protects the environment and the spiritual values of the predominant Buddhist population. The days flow with a state of harmony and presence. Bhutan has synergy- between government and the people, between the religious body and the government, between the communities. Bhutanese people honor nature, light incense, pray, support ritual, and family values. Joy is apparent so the name Gross Nation of Happiness fits this small jewel in the Himalayas.
There are many places to visit and many in Asia but Bhutan is unique and the country follows the motif of “happiness.” What can be better than that?

“My wife and I had the opportunity to spend 14 glorious days with Cathy and Kinlay in Bhutan. What made the trip incredible was not only a terrific balance of both adventure and culture, but also Kinlay’s ability to bring specific requests to fruition. Bhutan is a very unique country with wonderful people. They are on the cusp which leads to a sense of excitement at every corner. Cathy and Kinlay covered all corners, plus, so much so that I will be going back to Bhutan for another adventure with them in the fall.”
