Fall settles in Jackson Hole, Wyoming

October 10, 2013

Fall 2013 (600x800)
fall colors abound

Change is in the air.  It’s mating season for most of the larger animals to ensure the young are born in the spring. The bull elk bugle to attract females and establish territories. Berries hang heavy on the bushes and feed the bears, moose and many birds.  Squirrels are seen cashing nuts and feasting on mushrooms.  Aspens quake with yellow leaves and snow begins to cover the high peaks.  It’s a nice time to play with cooler temperatures. Let’s welcome fall!

We tour throughout the month before we close for a fall break. The Hole Hiking Experience will close from October 28 to November 25. We will be checking emails.

We are also gearing up for winter and have some fun new tours. We have combined our half day snowshoe tour with a dog sled tour, a sleigh ride on the National Elk Refuge or a combination of a wildlife focus with a shorter snowshoe tour. Don’t forget the popular snowshoe sampler which is a great introduction and a scenic walk in the woods. Winter Tour Info
