November through April
Journey into the heart of winter on snowshoes or cross country skis with a naturalist guide. Follow animal tracks in the snow, examine different aspects of winter ecology and enjoy the outstanding beauty of Jackson Hole as it is blanketed in white. Winter tours are offered in Grand Teton National Park and in the surrounding National Forest.
Choose your trip based on time: The Explorer (4 hours), The Trekker (6 hours), The Sampler (2 – 2.5 hours). Then choose family friendly, active/aerobic, or nature focused when reserving so we can customize your experience.
Our guides are educated naturalists. Each is a trained Wilderness First Responder who loves sharing his or her passion and knowledge for the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
To be permit-compliant, we’ll be offering limited mixed-group Explorer tours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday although we highly encourage booking private tours while COVID-19 risk remains elevated. Read more »
