Our winter wildlife tours combine wildlife viewing in Grand Teton National Park and time on the snow with a knowledgeable naturalist guide. We’ll visit mixed habitats and look for a wide range of animals, raptors and birds.
Our guides are educated naturalists. Each is a trained Wilderness First Responder who loves sharing his or her passion and knowledge for the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Snowshoe Sampler + Wildlife Tour

This bestselling tour option combines a wildlife tour with the Snowshoe Sampler in Grand Teton National Park. Your naturalist guide will share the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem while you spot wildlife in their natural setting with optics. Visit habitats of bighorn sheep, elk, moose, deer, coyote, fox, eagles, Trumpeter swans and more. After exploring this mixed habitat, you’ll journey into the forest on snowshoes to look for signs of wildlife behavior and animal tracks in the snow.

Combine a snowshoe tour in Grand Teton National Park with lunch at historic Dornan’s in Moose and a journey to the National Elk Refuge. We’ll end the day by traveling through the majestic elk heard by horse-drawn sleigh.
Your naturalist guide will share winter ecology, adaptations, geology, wildlife behavior, and natural history of this amazing area. Transportation, lunch, snowshoe rental, sleigh ride and optics provided.
Note: Snowshoe tour is private, elk sleigh ride is a public tour.
